Pardon? is made by Berk Frei (It's Man Made). By using it you agree to these terms.

Using Pardon?

• Only caption conversations where the people present know Pardon? is on. Where the law requires everyone's consent, get it.
• Only save someone's voice fingerprint with their permission (or, for a child, as their parent or guardian).
• Don't use Pardon? to secretly record, monitor, or harass anyone.
• Invite links let anyone who has them join your circle. Share them only with people you want in it.

Captions can be wrong

Speech recognition and speaker labels make mistakes, especially with background noise or people talking over each other. Pardon? isn't a hearing aid or a medical device, and isn't meant for legal, medical, or emergency situations.

The beta

Pardon? is in beta. Features may change, break, or go away, and usage limits apply (for example, hours of captions per month). We'll do our best to keep things running but can't promise it.

Your content

What's said at your table is yours. You give us permission to process it only to run Pardon? for your circle, as described in our Privacy page.

Liability

Pardon? is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.
